Often referred as \u201cFestival of Lights\u201d, Diwali celebrates the victory of good over evil, light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. This day is traditionally celebrated with the Annakut \u2013 literally, \u2018a mountain of food\u2019. Every year over 1,000 unique thals (vegetarian delicacies) are offered in devotional gratitude for the past year, and to seek blessings for the New Year.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ap_call_to_action clearfix center\"><div class=\"ap_call_to_action_content\"><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">How can I make an offering for the Annakut?<\/h3>\n<p>Many devotees wish to make an offering to God and seek blessings for the year ahead.
